[2.0] Connecting TSYS (Formerly Cayan) To Your TherapyAppointment Account, Enabling Credit Card Processing

Have you signed up with Cayan/TSYS for integrated credit card processing? If so, you will need to connect your Cayan/TSYS information to your TherapyAppointment account before that functionality will be present.

What you need from Cayan/TSYS is your “MerchantWare Credentials” (not your Merchant ID), which consists of three pieces of information: Name, Site ID, Key

If you do NOT have that information from Cayan/TSYS, you will need to contact them directly to obtain your credentials. They can be reached at 1-800-498-0823. 

If you DO have that information, log into your TherapyAppointment account and navigate to your “Practice Settings” either via the link in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen or by pressing the drop-down menu (where your name is displayed) in the upper right-hand portion of the screen.

In that section, you will choose the “Billing & Insurance” tab and look for the “Payment Processing” section on the right-hand portion of the screen. Once there, click the “Configure” link, and then the “Yes” button on the following screen.

For security reasons, you will be prompted to re-enter your password, and then press the “Authenticate” button.

On the next screen, you will be able to input your MerchantWare Credentials and make sure to input them EXACTLY as they are sent to you. Editing the “Name” portion, mistyping any of the characters, or including spaces before/after that information will inhibit this function from working.
