Can't Edit Client Information on an iPad

This gets rather technical...the "items in red" are a function of HTML5, and an iPad does not have this feature fully implemented, so it can't mark the items in red. The best solution is to enter patient information on a regular computer. However, if this option is not available, check things like the proper capitalization of items (e.g. the state name entered in caps, middle initial in caps), check that the email address is correct, that dates are entered correctly, that items that ask for dollar amounts don't have commas or dollar signs entered (just numbers and a decimal point), and that all other blanks that ask for a number don't have text there instead. These are the most common causes of the "red item" flags.
